I am an international student and I already see a different amount. Is this correct?
Yes. Non-EU students may be subject to the Flat Rate, under which the applicable fee bracket is determined according to the student’s country of origin.
You can check the bracket corresponding to your country in the Flat Rate table for PhD students.
I am not an Extra UE student: how much do I have to pay?
When you enrol for the first time or renew your enrolment for subsequent years, you must pay:
€190.00 regional tax + €16.00 stamp duty.
If you are entitled to a lower fee bracket, the amount will be recalculated at a later stage.
Why can’t I pay a lower amount straight away?
The regional tax cannot be automatically recalculated on the basis of your ISEE when you enrol.
If your ISEE places you in a lower fee bracket, the difference between the amount paid and the amount due will be refunded at a later stage.
How do I submit my ISEE?
Log in to your Reserved Area and follow this path:
Menu → Student Administration → Benefits
From this section, authorise the automatic acquisition of your ISEE.
You do not need to upload or send any documents.
What are the three ISEE brackets?
The regional tax is recalculated according to the following brackets:
- Bracket 1 – €130.00: ISEE up to €26,887.93
- Bracket 2 – €160.00: ISEE from €26,887.94 to €53,775.88
- Bracket 3 – €190.00: ISEE from €53,775.89
The €16.00 stamp duty must be added to these amounts.
